Our Doctors
Dr Zaw Htut
Graduated from the University of Medicine, Myanmar, and accumulated nine years of experience working in Jamaica prior to relocation to Australia. Dr Zaw has worked at Mackay Base Hospital, and successfully completed GP training through JCU Townsville.
Dr Shu Ma Wa Maung
Dr Shu graduated in 2008 from Myanmar. She has worked in Mackay Base Hospital and is a Fellow of RACGP. She loves all aspects of General Practice medicine, with special interest in Chronic Disease management and women's health.
Dr Andrea Singh
Graduated from the Fiji School of Medicine and accumulated 7 years of experience working in Emergency Medicine and Primary health care prior to relocation to Australia. Areas of interest: Emergency Medicine, Infectious Disease, Women's Health, Chronic Disease Management.
Dr Khin Ma Ma SOE
Dr Khin has worked in Mackay Base Hospital and is part of RACGP Registrar Program. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to patient care.
Dr Minu Mary Mathew
Dr Minu Mary Mathew did her MBBS training in India. She has worked at hospitals in India, England and Australia. She completed her RACGP training with JCU.
Dr John Varghese
Dr John Binil Varghese has been a medical practitioner since 1998. He has trained in India, England and Australia and completed his fellowship training in 2012. He consults in all areas of General Practice.
Dr Deshika Fernando
Dr Ishan Deshika Fernando has completed his MBBS in Sri Lanka and has worked in Townsville Hospital and is currently under RACGP fellowship pathway.

Annandale Doctors is situated within the Annandale Shopping Centre Townsville, across from Lavarack Barracks approx. 8.9 kilometres (15 minutes) from Townsville's CBD and 4.5 Kilometres (8 minutes) from James Cook University and Townsville University Hospital.
Our Clinic offers a wide range of services including: Full General Practice with other services that include minor surgical procedures, childhood immunisations, Driving licence medicals, spirometry and ECG's. We also offer travel advice and vaccinations to patients travelling overseas. Our clinic also provides skin checks.
