New patients are welcome. Appointments can be booked online through AutoMed, by telephone on (07) 4420 1183 or in person at the practice.

Please arrive early for your first appointment to complete any required registration information. The reception team is happy to assist.


Booking Your First Appointment

Appointments can be booked online, by phone on (07) 4420 1183, or in person at the clinic. Standard consultations are generally 15 minutes. Request a longer appointment when booking if you have multiple concerns, a complex issue, paperwork or an assessment requiring additional time.


What to Bring

Please bring the following to your first appointment:

  • Medicare card
  • Concession, pension, Health Care Card or DVA card, if applicable
  • Private health insurance details, if relevant
  • Current medication list
  • Relevant medical records
  • Previous test or imaging reports
  • Referral or specialist correspondence, where relevant

Transfer of Medical Records

Patients changing practices may ask their previous practice to transfer relevant medical records. Contact reception for the current transfer process and any applicable form.


Choosing a Preferred Practitioner

Patients are encouraged to establish an ongoing relationship with their preferred practitioner for continuity of care. If the preferred practitioner is unavailable, reception can advise what other appointments are available.

Telehealth and Phone Consultations

Telehealth and telephone consultations may be available for eligible patients when clinically appropriate. Contact reception to confirm whether this type of appointment is suitable.


Fees and Billing

Annandale Doctors bulk bills standard eligible consultations for Medicare card holders. Private fees apply to non-eligible consultations, procedures and non-Medicare services. The reception team can advise of any applicable fees at the time of booking.

Fees charged by external providers such as pathology, radiology and specialist services are separate and may not be bulk billed.

Interpreter Services

Interpreter assistance is available through TIS National on 131 450. Advise reception when booking if an interpreter is required.
